Growing up in California, he has won many local tournaments and was featured in countless magazines and newspapers including: In-Fisherman, Boating Life, Western Outdoor News, Fishing and Hunting News, Orange County Register, Bassmasters, American Bass, Los Angeles Times, and most recently Rocky Montain. Game & Fish Magazine (Feb. 2016). While already known as an accomplished trophy bass angler and guide in Southern California, he gained national recognition in 2007 boating an 18lb 2 oz. bass, The largest caught on any body of water that year!  In 2010, he moved here to Colorado and started pursuing a new challenge, Colorado Bass Fishing! in 2013 he joined the Denver Bassmasters and won "Rookie of the year" and "Angler of the year" his first year with a club of 50 members. In 2014 and 2015 he also finished strong with back to back 2nd place finishes for the year just missing out on Angler of the Year! This past year (2019) he finished in 1st again winning AOY with the Denver Bassmasters and placed 2nd again in 2020! He has now added to his resume 4 AOY awards for both Bass and Trout in 2 different states with 3 different clubs as well as 18 tournament wins in 5 states including 4 bass tournament wins on Chatfield Reservoir!!!!!! Now he lives here in Denver Colorado and is mastering the art of bass fishing in the state of Colorado!
